This is served very commonly as prasad during pujas. Traditionally, black chana is used, but today it is often with white chana as well. |

Ingredients |
- 1 cup black chana
- ¼ cup freshly grated coconut
- ¼ tsp mustard seeds
- 1 big green chili
- 5-6 curry leaves
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tsp ghee
- Salt

Preparation Method |
- Soak the chana overnight or for 4-5 hours.
- Steam it for 15 minutes.
- Heat ghee and add mustard seeds and green chilies.
- Once the seeds splutter, add the curry leaves
- Just before taking it off the heat, add coriander leaves.
- Pour it over the cooked chana.
- Add salt and mix well.
- Garnish with coconut and serve.
