Ingredients |
- black gram dal - 2 cups
- green chillies - 5
- ginger - 1 piece
- curry leaves - 2 sprigs
- salt to taste
- Oil for frying

Preparation Method |
- Soak the dal for 2-3 hours. Drain the water and grind to a fine paste along with all the ingredients.
- Heat the oil in kadai. Take a lemon-sized ball of batter, place on a small plastic sheet, and put into a vada making a hole in the centre.
- Deep fry to a golden brown stirring occasionally. Repeat process until all the batter is used up. Serve immediately.
