Ingredients
  1. Chicken (broiler) 1
  2. Red chillies 10
  3. Pepper corns 5-6
  4. Cinnamon, Cloves, Fennel & Cardamom 3 g
  5. Garlic 1 pod
  6. Ginger 2.5 cm piece
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Vinegar 1 tsp
  9. Onion 200 g
  10. Tomato 2 medium size
  11. Curry leaves 1 sprig
Preparation Method
  • Clean and joint the chicken.
  • Grind together all the spices with salt, curry leaves and vinegar.
  • Slice onion and chop tomato roughly.
  • Marinate the chicken with half of the ground spices. Keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a Kadai
  • Saute sliced onion to light brown colour.
  • Add remaining ground spices to the pan.
  • Add chopped tomato, saute for a few minutes before adding the chicken.
  • Cover and cook till chicken is tender.
  • Check for seasoning.
  • Remove from fire and serve with Indian bread.
