Ingredients
  1. Red gram  - 1 cup
  2. Corm pieces (chena) - 3/4 cup
  3. Brinjal pieces - 3/4 cup 
  4. Cucumber pieces - 1/2 cup
  5. Grated coconut - 3 cups
  6. Green chillies - 12
  7. Ghee or coconut oil - 11/2  oz
  8. Curry leaves - 3 stalks 
Preparation Method
  • Cook the red gram in water.
  • When there is very little water left, add slit chillies and all the pieces of vegetables and cook.
  • Pour salt.
  • Add 3/4 cup water to the coconut and squeeze out the milk.
  • Strain it into the curry.
  • Crush the curry leaves and put it into the curry along with the ghee. Serve it hot.
