Chicken Pav Bhaji | Preparation time: Under 30 minutes |

- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala or garam masala
- 1/2 cup beans and carrots, finely chopped and boiled in a little water for two minutes
- 1 capsicum, chopped fine
- 1 boiled potato, mashed
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1 cup boiled chicken, shredded (optional)
- 2 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
- Butter, a small knob (optional)
| Preparation Method |
- Fry the onions till brown.
- Then add the ginger-garlic paste and tomato purée.
- Lower the flame, cover and cook this mixture the oil separates from the paste.
- Now add the masala powder, vegetables, chicken (optional) and salt and mix properly.
- Cover and cook on low flame till nearly dry.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and butter.
- Serve with pav/ chapattis/ naan.
- This also makes for a great filling for sandwiches (toasted or plain).
