- 1/2 cup of cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup capsicum, cut in strips
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- 2/3 bulbs of spring onion, chopped along with the greens
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp green chilly, minced
- 2 tbsp tomato purée
- 1 tsp vinegar
- A pinch of sugar
- Cornflour (if needed)
If you are using fish
- 2 cups of fish, cut into chunks
If you are using chicken
- 2 cups of chicken, shredded
| Preparation Method |
- Sauté spring onions, ginger-garlic paste and green chillies in the kadhai for a minute.
- Then add the tomato purée, sauces, vinegar and sugar.
- Let it simmer for a minute.
- Add the vegetables (or chicken or fish). Increase the flame and stir fry.
- Make sure the vegetables don't lose their crunchiness.
- If the sauce thins, sprinkle a little cornflour to thicken it.
- Serve with steamed rice or steamed noodles.
