Kappa with Mulaku

Kappa (Tapioca) is a dish commonly used in Kerala homes. It is served with Mulaku or Coconut chutney

Ingredients
  1. Tapioca - 1 kg
  2. Salt - as required

For Mulaku chutney:

  1. Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  2. Small Onion Sliced - 2
  3. Salt - as required
  4. Coconut Oil - 2 tsp
Preparation Method
  • Clean the tapioca and cut it into big round pieces. Cook in water and salt till done.
  • When the tapioca gets cooked, drain the rest of water. Serve with Mulaku chutney.

Mulaku Chutney :

  • Mix all the ingredients to a paste for the chutney to be used with the cooked tapioca.
