Kappa / Tapioca may be every Keralite's all time favourite, right? I love it with fish and Ulli chammanthi, but many here prefer it mixed with beef. |

Ingredients |
- Tapioca - 1(1/2) kg in small pieces
- Beef - 1 kg in small pieces
- Onion - 1 sliced
- Chilli Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Gram Masala - ½ teaspoon
- Turmeric - ¼ teaspoon
- Ginger - 1 piece cut fine
- Garlic - 3 pods cut fine
- Curry Leaves - 2 sprigs
- Salt - To taste
- Oil

Preparation Method |
- Cook tapioca and meat separately.
- Fry onion, ginger and garlic in a tablespoon oil, in a pan.
- When brown, add rest of the masala and fry little more. Add meat and cook for 5 minutes.
- Mix cooked tapioca and keep on low fire for few more minutes. Remove and serve hot.
