Ingredients |
- Pumpkin (Mathanga) - 500gm
- Green Chillies - 5
- Small Onion (Sliced) - 10
- Grated Coconut - 1cup
- Curry leaves - one sprig
- Cumin Seeds - 1tsp
- Red Oriental Bean - 100gm
- Mustar - one pinch
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Salt and oil - required

Preparation Method |
- Cook the red oriental bean with salt and keep it aside.
- Remove the skin of pumpkin and cut it into small cubes.
- Cook it in a little water and mash it.
- Grind grated Coconut, sliced onions, green chilly, cumin seeds and turmeric powder.
- Add this mixture with with mashed pumpkin, red oriental bean and add required salt.
- Boil it till the gravy becomes thick.
- Heat oil in a pan, season mustard seeds and curry leaves and pour it on to the cooked pumpkin curry.
