Varutharacha Egg Curry is very good dish ideal as a side dish for Chappathis or Bread. |

Ingredients |
- Eggs boiled and cut into two - 4 nos
- Small Onions (sliced small) - 200 g
Ginger-Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Curry leaves - 2 stems
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilly powder - 3/4 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1 1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Tomato chopped - 1
Green Chillies - 4
- Coconut fried and grounded - 2 tsp
- Coriander leaves - for garnishing
- Lemon juice - 1/2 of a lemon
- Oil - 2 tbsp

Preparation Method |
- Pour oil into a pan and saute small onions, ginger and garlic.
- Add curry leaves and masala powders (item no : 4) and saute for another two minutes.
- Add tomato and green chilly to this and saute.
- Add enough water and salt. And allow it to boil.
- Add the grounded coconut and egg to the curry.
- When the gravy starts to thicken, add lemon juice and keep down from the burner.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves and serve hot with Appam or Chappathis.
